


The PostEurop Project team together with representatives from La Poste, Deutsche Post, Hellenic Post, KEK-ELTA and InoSalus delved into four-day interactive discussion and brainstorming sessions this week. The workshop style discussion enables our experts to focus and prepare the “Stress Management” project proposal and further planning under the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning - Leonardo Da Vinci Programme.


The PostEurop Communication Pack, a compilation of PostEurop templates in both English and French for members use has been updated to include the new HQ address.

This new issue begins with the new PostEurop Strategy adopted at the Belgrade Plenary Assembly in April 2012, which is still in its implementation phase. The rest of the publication brings together all of PostEurop’s latest activities, challenges faced as well as recent achievements.

We are pleased to announce that Athina Georgiou, PostEurop’s new Strategy & Regulatory Support has begun her new duties as of 3 December 2012. Athina’s main role will include providing support for the implementation of the new Strategy of the Association as well as supporting the European Union Affairs Committee activities. Hence, she attended the European Union Affairs Committee meeting in Cyprus 29 November 2012 as a guest together with Botond Szebeny, Secretary General.
Athina comes from Greece where she has been working for Hellenic Post - ELTA S.A. since 2004 and during that time, she has held various positions within the International Mail Direction both in the Marketing & Sales and International Relations departments. She was also the Head of the Tender and Contract Department within the Sales Direction.
Her educational background includes a bachelor degree in law (LLB), an executive master in European Studies (MSc) and an executive master in Business Administration (EMBA). She is fluent in English and Greek with some basic knowledge of Italian.
We are also pleased to inform you that Noëlla Thibaut, our Translator has recently returned from her maternity and resumed her normal duties. To ensure a smooth transition period, Samir El Ktibi, our Interim Translator continued to provide translation, intelligence and administrative support till 3 December 2012. We thank Samir for his good work and wish him all the best for the future.
